Saif Ali Khan is currently filming Jewel Thief, directed by Siddharth Anand. Despite the incident where he was stabbed multiple times at his home in Bandra, Saif Ali Khan has a busy slate ahead, with eight films in the pipeline. Although not all projects are set to begin this year, it’s expected that shooting schedules will be adjusted to accommodate Saif’s recovery time.

Devara: Part 2: A collaboration with Jr NTR, directed by Kortala Siva, this film is the sequel to an action blockbuster.

There have also been rumours about Saif potentially sharing the screen with his daughter, Sara Ali Khan, though no details about that project have been confirmed yet.

Saif Ali Khan’s condition

Saif Ali Khan was rushed to Lilavati Hospital for treatment of six stab wounds. Two of which were deep, with one injury near his spine. As per the latest updates from his team, Saif is out of danger and currently recovering under medical supervision. A statement from his team read: “Saif Ali Khan has come out of surgery and is out of danger. He is currently in recovery, and the doctors are monitoring his progress. Thank you to all his fans and well-wishers for their prayers and thoughts during this time.”

The police are actively investigating the incident & examining CCTV footage. They have detained six suspects, though no formal arrests have been made yet. Meanwhile, fans and members of the film fraternity continue to express their concern for Saif’s safety and well-being, wishing him a swift recovery.

In a recent statement, doctors revealed that Saif was moved to the ICU following successful surgery. Initially, he underwent neurosurgery to remove a 3-inch-long sharp object from his body, followed by cosmetic surgery. Fortunately, he is now out of danger and recovering well.
